1. The Law of Divine Oneness
Everything that exists, seen and unseen, emanates from one source of energy.
Nothing exists outside of this source. This source is endless in terms of time, space and force. Some call this source God, the Absolute or the Universal Consciousness. No matter how you call it, this energy flows through everything - through all living beings and seemingly lifeless forms of matter.
According to the basic law of modern physics - the law of conservation of energy - everything is energy. The law states that everything that seems to be solid, in fact, consists of small energy particles, which are consistently moving at specific frequencies. Everything that you believe and see as solid is actually impulses of energy moving at a different speed and certain frequency.
Your body, phone, house, trees, stones – everything is made up of energy. All phenomena that exist in our universe, whether seen or unseen, are made up of vibrating energy or light. New shapes are being built, developed, discarded and rebuilt in other forms - the universal energy is in constant motion and change. Energy can't be created or destroyed, it only changes form. Today many modern scientists agree to the statements of various ancient philosophers and spiritual traditions: there exists an intelligent higher force that pervades all space and time. Everybody and everything is part of its creation. This energy is found everywhere and in everything, in all dimensions of space and time. This universal energy is also present in you. In fact, it is your essential nature.
The Divine is energy, and the energy is present in everything that exists.
In this field of the Universal Consciousness everything and everybody is connected and inseparable from each other. There are physical and non-physical links between everything that exists, so everything is affected by everything else, - all living beings and seemingly non-living material things, all humans, nature and the whole planet Earth with its elements, minerals, plants, insects, animals and spirits.
The world doesn't consist of separate individuals, things or events. We are all a part of this Divine Energy, like individual cells are a part of a greater organism.
Illusion of separation
Why then do we experience the sense of separation from other living beings and things, if we are actually united and a part of a one? Why don't we feel like connected cells of a greater organism on a daily basis? The answer to this is the way you feel depends on your development and state of your consciousness. The reality of the universe is quite different from the interpretation of the reality perceived through the average human senses: eyes and the brain. The average human vision can perceive visible light, which is only a small fraction of the whole light - the total electromagnetic spectrum. According to the scientific study, light visible to humans makes less than 1% of the whole electromagnetic spectrum (Clarke & Denton, 1962).
Given the limitation of our senses and the brain, we, humans, can perceive only a small part of the reality of the universe through our limited senses. And because we experience only small parts of the whole reality, our knowledge and perceptions are incomplete and that is where the illusion of separation arises.
Discovering oneness
We operate and interact led by our basic instincts and perceptions instilled by our parents and society, our brain (intellect), but we also have an unlimited potential if we access our Higher Self. To experience oneness, one should strive to access her/his spiritual Self and realise their belonging and unity with the Divine. Then, the Law of Oneness will serve you to access unlimited power and energy from the Divine Source.
